Mushrooms as the phoenix

Standard

It has been a week of ups and downs. The first flushes of mushrooms were very impressive, and those two groups weighed in at about 250 grams in total. However it became obvious that none of the other tub holes were going to give up any further mushroomy goodness. The battle between mushroom and mould was won by the mould, and no further action is expected.

Soooooo, ordered some more mycelium and a load of 5 litre tubs, and decided to try again. This time I will not uncover the holes for a fortnight, minimum.

In better news, moving the rhubarb, Ruby, has not resulted in her death, and she is already putting out shoots. Also some of the flowers are popping out making the garden seem a little more cheerful.

Other than this, not much else has transpired, a few pints, a failed music quiz, and a fantastic pizza from the local Prezzo kinda covers everything. May have buggered up the diet this weekend, but will be back to normal as of tomorrow 1130.
